WebCardio: A Companion App for Continuous ECG Monitoring
WebCardio is a free companion app designed to work with the WebCardio continuous ECG monitoring body-worn patch. The app is intended for use under medical supervision and on prescription in India only. Its primary function is to connect to the WebCardio cloud backend and periodically relay the data from the patch to the cloud.
One of the key features of this app is its ability to deliver basic services and enhance user experience while using the app. It requires three permissions: Storage, Ignore Battery Optimization, and Modify System Settings (Only in Moto C and Moto C Plus) to save the ECG data and log files, process and upload ECG data in the background, and automatically turn on and turn off the mobile hotspot for collecting data from the patch at regular intervals.
